Since the introduction of INTERSTEEL into the commercial and residential building markets, the range of products has been expanding continuously. INTERSTEEL has become a concept in the world of stainless steel hardware and is a collaboration of several manufacturers, offering products ideally suited for private houses, public buildings as well as for hotels and apartment buildings. Under this brand the range of products is worldwide marketed via a network of dealers and supplied in recyclable packaging.

Maintenance

The class-name stainless steel encompasses over hundred different types of steel. However, due to corrosive vapors and depending on how and where the product is used, in the end corrosion -or flash rust- will set in. This is not caused by the metal itself, but appears at the surface of the product. Periodically, once a week, cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended. Traces of corrosion of flash rust can be removed by vigorous rubbing. Flash rust on brushed stainless steel can also be removed by slightly scrubbing with very fine, waterproof emery-paper, provided that this scrubbing is in the same direction as the brushing of the material itself.

Specifications

Lever handles are illustrated as half pairs, but are sold per pair unless ordered otherwise. All backplates are available in a number of functions, toilet-, cylinder-, or keyholes and at different centres to suit most lock manufacturers. The measurement of the lock is important.
